Description: Low, spreading evergreen with bright yellow flowers in early spring followed by blue-black fruit clusters. Native to the western U.S. as far east as North Dakota. Likes well drained, organic soil, though not fussy, and drought-tolerant once established. Partial sun. Moderate grower to 12 to 15 inches tall, spreading by stolons to 3 to 4 feet wide.
