Description: Red Rocket® has cherry red flowers in huge, cone shaped clusters which may be 20 inches or more in length. Flower buds are dark crimson. New leaves are crimson, quickly changing to dark green, orange in autumn. Current season's shoots are also crimson providing a contrast to the green foliage. Red Rocket® grows and flowers best in full sun as a single or multi-stem, very large shrub or small tree, 20 feet high. Drought-tolerant and highly resistant to powdery mildew.
