Hybridized/Introduced By: Waterer and Crisp. Parentage: (‘Bagshot Ruby’ x unknown)
Description: Flowers are deep crimson, paler at the base, but a true red with no blue in the color. The blooms are held in tall, conical trusses. The foliage is a handsome dark matte green. The plant is an upright grower, maturing taller than wide. This is an under-rated plant. She peeks out from behind taller plants near the garden entrance and always evokes comment. Help Princess (now Queen) Elizabeth out. She deserves better press than she has recently gotten.
