STEWARTIA pseudocamellia
Size(s) available for nursery only pickup: Size 4-5' - $95.00
|
Description: The case could easily be made that this is the best small- to medium-sized tree for the garden. It has it all, shapely
pyramidal habit, pretty flowers, great bark and possibly most importantly, freedom from pests and diseases. 2-2.5 inch white flowers with a central boss of orange anthers in their centers are produced in July. With age, the bark flakes off, revealing a smooth sinewy texture in rich shades of brownish-orange.
