Description: A smaller-statured, "big leaf" magnolia native to northern Florida, but hardy to zone 6. Blooms at a young age, often when only 2-3' high. Leaves are large, to 2 feet long, of a papery texture and have white bloomy undersides. Flowers are white with a purple flush at the base, very fragrant, and about a foot across.
