LEUCOTHOE axillaris

Description: These are seedlings of Georgia origin with very distinctive, almost round leaves about 1.5 inches in diameter. Quite different from all other leucothoe we've seen. Nice evergreen ericaceous shrub with little white bell flowers and later brown “peppercorn” seed capsules. 3 x 4' feet.
