Description: A multi-stemmed shrub that is dense growing and can reach heights of 6 to 10 feet. This selection promises a profusion of bright purple flowers in January-February. Foliage also has a purple tint that deepens to dark red purple in the fall. Appreciative of moist soils, but must be well drained. They are pH adaptable, and like full sun to partial shade. The flowers are fragrant and the plants will make an excellent informal hedge.
