Parentage: ('Golden Peace' x austrinum)
Description: Red buds open to bright yellow, 2 inch flowers with a faint red blush and a deep yellow blotch. The late Dr. Eugene Aromi bred heat-tolerant Exbury azaleas with austrinum. He reached his goal of creating thick foliaged, large flowered, very heat tolerant plants that do well in both the southern gulf states and northern Zone 6 areas. We hope to offer more of the Aromi’s in the near future.
