R. (AZALEA) DECIDUOUS 'Choptank Yellow' seedlings
|
Parentage: (atlanticum x periclymenoides open pollinated)
Description: These are our seedlings from plants selected by Polly Hill from a natural hybrid swarm found along the Choptank River on the Maryland Delaware border. They should be Zone 5 hardy and grow to about 5-6'. The flowers bloom in May for us and they are light yellow shades, most with pink highlights. Oh, and they are fragrant too! We offer two seedling strains: one from 'Choptank Rose' and the other from 'Choptank Yellow'. Be adventuresome. We can’t guarantee the color, but we have not YET seen a bad plant or flower.
