RHODODENDRON 'Blue Ridge'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Haag Parentage: (russautinii x augustinii)
Description: Bright blue flowers sparkle on this compact, tough plant. A caveat: For most of the winter, the leaves hang down, even when the temperature is above freezing. Then, once the soil warms, the plant performs a Lazarus-like recovery, springing back to life. Don’t be too quick to judge its demise — it does this every year. The blue flowers make its resurrection game worth while.
