RHODODENDRON 'Very Berry'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Greer Parentage: ('Trude Webster' x 'Jean Marie DeMontague')
Description: The flowers are rosy red, heavily substanced, and exceptionally large. Large foliage is dark green, and fully clothes a sturdy plant structure. We are pleasantly surprised about its hardiness in our area, but give it a favored location just to be on the safe side. It needs room. Use it as focal plant or for the background. It's stunning in bloom and should be heat tolerant, due to 'Jean Marie' being in its background.
