RHODODENDRON 'Bear Claw'
|
Parentage: (bureavii X yakushimanum or reverse)
Description: This “bear” and a number of his relatives live in our “woodsy” display garden. All have coats of brown indumentum under the leaves, new growth covered in fuzzy wuzzy fur, and a short stout shape. Aptly named, this one holds its leaves in an upright fashion, each with a slight twist like a claw, to show off the furry undersides. Oh yes, it also blooms! Early pink buds open to white flowers in a full truss
