RHODODENDRON 'Anita Gehnrich'
Size(s) available for nursery only pickup: Size 24-30" - $150.00 Size 30-36" - $175.00
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Waldman Parentage: ('The Hon. Jean Marie de Montague' X yakushimanum)
Description: 'Anita' has the same parents as Hank Schannen's 'Solidarity,' however there are a few differences between them. Both have very dark green foliage of heavy substance, but 'Anita's leaves are smaller, as are her flowers. They may retain more color when fully open, and she has a lower, more spreading growth habit. Like 'Solidarity,' 'Anita' is a first-rate plant. Must be something good in the genes!
