Hybridized/Introduced By: Frank Skinner
Description: 'Donald' is a late bloomer, and worth waiting for! It is named for the former Horticulturist at the Arnold Arboretum and author of Wyman's Gardening Encyclopedia. Clusters of long, dark purple tubular flowers produce a distinctive spicy scent, on a large upright shrub. With few or no suckers, consider using
'Donald Wyman' as a tree in small gardens.
