Hybridized/Introduced By: Evamaria Sperber Parentage: (acuminata x liliflora)
Description: One of the most unusually colored magnolias, chocolate brown and rose. Blooms late to avoid frost damage. Has been a very successful parent for breeding yellows. A tree planted at the "Holden Arboretum" in 1972 was measured at 30 feet tall and 24 feet across in 2006.
