Hybridized/Introduced By: Santamour Parentage: [(hypoleuca X virginiana var. virginiana)]
Description: Partially evergreen leaves look like those of a giant M. virginiana. Flowers are ivory white, about 6 inches, and very fragrant. Reported to be sterile, so no fruit is produced. This vigorous small tree has smooth gray bark. A US National Arboretum Introduction.
