HYDRANGEA anomala ssp petiolaris
|
Description: A true clinging vine that attaches by root-like holdfasts, giving it the ability to climb trees and walls. Leaves are oval, almost rounded, and bark is very attractive, peeling in light brown curls like Acer griseum. Great vine for covering arbors or even a rock pile. White flowers in flat 6-10 inch diameter inflorescences in late June/early July.
