Description: Propagated from native plants on our pine barrens property, this blueberry relative is really neat! We may be the only nursery offering it too! It is deciduous, grows about 3-4 feet, and is somewhat stoloniferous. Leaves are glaucous(blue) green. White flowers in spring are very blueberry-like, little white bells hanging
from the branches. The fruit could easily be mistaken for
blueberries, they are sky-blue and hang on 1-2 inch stems,
hence the name. Last but not least, they are at least as tasty as
the best blueberries you've ever had. Acid, organic rich, well
drained soils as for blueberries should suit it.
