Hybridized/Introduced By: Schannen Parentage: (dauricium seedling, perhaps a hybrid)
Description: Recently named by RareFind Nursery, this was grown and propagated by us for 10 years under the mouthful of a name “Hank’s Very Early Seedling #1.” An excellent deep, rich purple flower on a low, spreading dwarf plant. Has bigger flowers than the typical dauricium species, so it may be a hybrid. In the fall, the evergreen foliage turns dark mahogany black and the older inner leaves turn bright yellow to provide an extra, last burst of autumn color.
