Hybridized/Introduced By: Leach Parentage: (keiskei, Mt Kuromi form X 'Epoch')
Description: 'Jericho' combines the light yellow color and lower stature of
R. keiskei with the hardiness of R. minus from the eastern United States. An interesting note is that 'Epoch' is an induced tetraploid form of minus, the first manmade tetraploid rhododendron, created by the pioneering genius of Augie Kehr. Theoretically, 'Jerico' should be a sterile triploid and producing no seed, allowing more energy for growth and budding.
