Hybridized/Introduced By: Bovee Parentage: (yakushimanum Koichiro Wada x wardii)
Description: There is a gorgeous much larger specimen at the Jenkins Arboretum in Devon, PA (near Philadelphia). The light
creamy yellow flowers, spotted lightly within the throat, have
heavy substance and are a delight in mid May. The flowers,
while excellent, are only half the show. The remainder of the
year, Bob Bovee shows off with his glossy deep green leaves
and rounded, mounded plant habit. Appreciates high shade in
hot summers.
