RHODODENDRON 'Elsie Watson'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Fujioka Parentage: ('Anna' X 'Purple Lace')
Description: No words can adequately describe this multi-hued flower. The tightly packed truss opens first as a pale lavender pink bloom with an amazing white and deep purple star in the throat. The flower's undertone changes as it ages, but remains an eye-catcher throughout. It is an upright grower, well-clothed with heavy, deep green leaves. This plant has been surprisingly hardy for us. We do not suggest it be grown in a climate colder than Zone 6b unless you want to experiment.
