Hybridized/Introduced By: (species obtained from Dr. Carl Phetteplace, Eugene, OR, in 1969)
Description: Wow, we have grown this surprisingly hardy species for a long time. The flowers are an apple blossom pink to white in early May, framed by dark green foliage. Underneath the leaves is a tan-orange indumentum. Good drainage and 50% shade will be appreciated by this gem.
