Description: Wow! What a plant. A native of the southeastern U.S., this member of the Ericaceae family has it all. The leaves are covered in a powdery white bloom, giving them a blue silver appearance. Nodding white flowers are 3/8 inch long in clusters during May and June. Fall color is an incredible mixture of reds and oranges. With the powdery bloom on the leaves, they appear as glowing, ash dusted embers—and retain those leaves throughout the winter.
