Hybridized/Introduced By: Dave Lewis Parentage: (minus Carolinianum Group X dauricum) Description: A Dave Lewis hybrid which he initially named Pale Face, but then registered as 'Alfreda Wiaczek' in memory of a beloved member of the Princeton Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society. This is an early blooming lepidote with a medium habit and bronzy green leaves. The large lavender pink flower is different from similar crosses because of its very pale center.
