RHODODENDRON 'Yaku Prince'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Shammarello Parentage: ('King Tut' X yakushimanum 'Koichiro Wada')
Description: One of Anthony Shammarello's "Royalty Series" of dependable plants, we consider this to be the best of the lot. 'Yaku Prince' has frilled flowers that open from red buds to a chiffon rose pink, then fade to a lighter pink. The plant is compact, low and spreading with matte green leaves and orange-tan indumentum. A great performer. Can I say: "A prince of a plant?"
