RHODODENDRON 'Yaku Picotee'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Ben Lancaster hybrid Parentage: ('Moser's Maroon' X yakushimanum 'Koichiro Wada')
Description: This has good yak-like leaves and habit including a layer of thin indumentum under the leaves. On older plants, many of the branches are held at a 45° angle, exposing the indumentum to view. But it's the flowers that set it apart. They are white with rosy pink edges; a picotee effect as the name implies, resulting in a truly different yak hybrid for your garden.
