RHODODENDRON (yak x decorum 'Cox's Uranium Green')
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Dr. Forest Bump
Description: Compact trusses of white flowers with green speckling in the throat show up nicely over the excellent dark, heavily veined foliage. The low growing species yakushimanum combined with the large open growing decorum, produced a tight low growing plant which is useful as a foreground plant in smaller modern gardens. 'Cox's Uranium Green' is thought to be a natural hybrid between decorum and wardii. Resembles a somewhat more open growing 'Nestucca'.
