RHODODENDRON 'Summer Glow'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Leach Parentage: ('Summer Snow' X 'Scarlet Blast')
Description: A trained eye might be able to spot the maximum heritage in this plant. The leaves are large and elongated, but unlike maximum, they are glossy, a good dark green, and not as pointed. The bloom season is late (early June), but the truss and flowers are very large and of a bright, clear, rose pink which age to a lighter pink. A great plant to extend the bloom season. This is an exuberant grower so give it lots of room.
