RHODODENDRON 'Ruth Mottley'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Woodrow Robertson hybrid, grown by Joe Davis Parentage: (unnamed apricot/peach hybrid X 'Lem’s Cameo')
Description: The domed truss is comprised of very large light purplish pink flowers with stronger purplish pink margins and a yellow throat. From a distance the effect is pale lavender orange. A strong growing, yet compact, impressive-looking plant which buds well and has outstanding foliage. Ruth has impressed us so far, but the exact hardiness is unknown. Needs shade; not for extra cold climates.
