RHODODENDRON 'Ruth Davis'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Gable/Davis Parentage: (yakushimanum X degronianum ssp.heptamerum [formerly metternichii]
Description: Red tinged buds open to large pink ageing-to-white flowers for an interesting yak-like tricolor effect. This is a dependable low grower with dark green leaves on a mounded plant. A good yak hybrid possessing year-round attractiveness. We suspect the above parentage may be wrong, and this may truly be a yakushimanum X smirnowii hybrid.
