Hybridized/Introduced By: Uosukainen Parentage: (brachycarpum (as ssp. tigerstedtii) X smirnowii)
Description: Another recent Finnish immigrant for that colder garden. However, it is handsome enough to be a resident of milder climates as well. The plant is well branched and compact with lightly indumented leaves. The new growth is handsomely covered with tomentum. The flowers are white, blushed with pink, and set off with light green spotting in the throat.
