RHODODENDRON 'Hypermax'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Delp Parentage: (hyperythrum X maximum)
Description: This one blooms early, surprising for a maximum hybrid. Flowers are large, about 3", white with red speckles in the upper lobe, in a full round truss. It's compact, hardy and a lusty grower. Leaves are large and very dark green, nearly black. Should perform well in the South, as both parents have demon- strated excellent heat tolerance.
