Hybridized/Introduced By: Shammarello Parentage: (red catawbiense seedling X 'Cunningham’s White')
Description: A Shammarello hybrid that has proven to be hardy in heat as well as cold from Georgia to Nova Scotia. This compact plant grows into a rounded mound with dark green leathery leaves. It blooms young with large buds that provide off-season interest. The trusses are ball-shaped with rose-red flowers flecked with darker spotting. An excellent choice for that more exposed location.
