Hybridized/Introduced By: Clint Smith Parentage: (yakushimanum, Larson #6 X 'Mrs J. G. Millais')
Description: Raised and registered by the midwest’s legendary Chris Trautmann. Very large white flowers from light purple buds open to 4 – 4.5" across with twin rays of deep orange-yellow spotting on the dorsal lobe. There are 16 flowers in the truss. The large flower size is unusual for a yak hybrid. The plant grows about 2.5' high x 3' wide in 10 years. Raised in Cincinnati, OH, so you know it has to be both heat tolerant and cold hardy.
