RHODODENDRON 'Fantastica'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Hachmann Parentage: ('Mars' X yakushimanum 'Koichiro Wada')
Description: From Germany's (and probably the world's) premier hybridizer, a heavy bloomer with reddish pink flowers shading to white in the throat for a picotee effect. With 18 to 22 flowers in the truss, slightly indumented foliage and a vigorous but compact habit, the late Herr Hachmann considered this to be one of his best plants. A favorite parent of hybridizers seeking hardy and colorful plants with good foliage and plant habit.
