RHODODENDRON 'Dexter's Champagne'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Dexter Parentage: (parentage unknown)
Description: It is quite a sight to see a large plant of this in full bloom. The name is an apt one; the fragrant flowers are buff with faint highlights of pink, apricot, and yellow. The truss holds 14 flowers, each rather flat-faced with seven lobes and 4 inches across. The overall effect is one of . . . well, a glass of champagne. The foliage is moderately glossy and olive green in color.
