RHODODENDRON 'Catalode' (County of York)
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Gable Parentage: (catawbiense var. album' X 'Loderi King George')
Description: An East Coast classic from master hybridizer Joseph Gable, the large white flowers of 'Catalode' are accented with a yellow flare and held in a conical truss. Its distinctive apple-green leaves which can be up to a foot long, make it one of the easiest rhododendron hybrids to identify when not in bloom. 'Catalode' is an easy-to- please, fast growing plant completely at home in an informal woodland setting.
