RHODODENDRON 'Carte Blanche'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Shapiro Parentage: (brachycarpum X 'Bonfire')
Description: Dome shaped trusses composed of 18-20 flowers. Each flower is open funnel-shaped, with 5 wavy-edged lobes. Bud is purplish pink, opening to light purplish pink and aging to white. Retains color longer on outside and on margins; brilliant yellow spots on dorsal lobe. The plant is compact and vase shaped with dark green glossy foliage. This is quickly becoming one of our favorites because it is such a good performer. http://www.flickr.com/photos/22001687@N07/sets/72157627406668195/
