RHODODENDRON 'Capistrano'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Leach Parentage: ('Hindustan' X [([catawbiense, whiteflowered x (fortunei ssp. discolor x Fabia Group)] x ['Russell H
Description: For plant masochists only!! This has been a cranky grower for us, requiring excellent drainage. It redeems itself by the flower which is good. From bud stage to finish, the color is pure medium to light yellow on a full and dome-shaped truss about the size and shape of 'Roseum Elegans'. In mid-May, the dense, mounded plant is covered with trusses which are in pleasing proportion to the medium green leaves. A complement to mid season reds or purples. Sorry, we do not guarantee this plant.
