RHODODENDRON 'Bellringer'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: Consolini Parentage: (Possibly wardii x fortunei ssp. fortunei)
Description: Raised by Dexter's head gardener, this hybrid has creamy flowers with a strong yellow blotch. Often plants with yellow genes tend to have lighter green foliage, but not 'Bellringer.' It develops into an erect, well-shaped plant with shiny dark green leaves. An excellent plant for a mid-season spot of color. Stand back, it wants to grow!
