Hybridized/Introduced By: Beasley & Beasley Parentage: [(atlanticum x periclymenoides) X (atlanticum x periclymenoides)]
Description: Named after Nacoochee, the Evening Star, a legendary Cherokee princess, who jumped after her lover Sautee, of the enemy Choctaw tribe, was thrown off a cliff when the two were caught together. Very fragrant flowers are clustered in ball-shaped trusses, white flushed pale pink, each flower about 2.5 inches wide with a narrow tube. Shrub is stoloniferous.
