R. (AZALEA) DECIDUOUS 'Weston's Lemon Drop'

Hybridized/Introduced By: Mezitt Parentage: (R. viscosum hybrid X unknown)
Description: Previously known as 'Lemon Drop.' The mid-July bloom is an abundance of light yellow flowers from peach buds that have a lemony aroma. The flowers can hold up two weeks or more in hot sun. This vigorous, upright shrub has small, distinctive beautiful blue-green mildew resistant leaves, which in fall turn dark pink-red on the outside of the plant, yellow on the inside! Winter stems are a distinctive reddish brown.
