R. (AZALEA) EVERGREEN 'Koromo Shikibu'
|
Parentage: Said to be a Kurume hybrid, but is more likely an unknown X R. macrosepalum)
Description: 'Koromo Shikibu' is a low growing azalea with hairy leaves
and very unusual flowers. The long strap-like lavender flower
petals spread out in a spidery fashion giving this azalea a very
unusual appearance. When it blooms in mid-season, it always
causes comments, despite the floral competition in our display
garden. We never seem to have enough in stock.
