Description: "Variegation" is the word that best describes this maple. The new growth is mostly a bright light pink but some leaves have patches of green and pink, or combinations of white with pink patches or flecks. As the foliage matures, these colors change a bit with pink flecks in white areas and combinations of light and dark green. The fall show intensifies some of these colors to a bright rose giving a full season of variable color. This is a tree with a narrow upright shape. Light colors of white and light pink do best in some shade, so site it with that in mind. | ||||
