Description: 'Forest Green' is a selection made by Dick Lighty, retired director of the Mt. Cuba Center in DE, of the wonderful Eastern US native groundcover commonly known as “pachy pro” here at the nursery. Try this as a nice alternative to the invasive tendencies of English ivy and Japanese pachysandra. 'Forest Green'’s leaves are larger and less mottled than other clones, spreading slowly but steadily in shady, moist areas.
