LEUCOTHOE keiskei
|
Description: This is a form of Leucothoe that is very unusual because of its low spreading slow growth habit. The new growth is red and the winter color is deep purple. Although a dwarf plant, the flowers actually have much bigger, white, nodding bells than the larger forms. In its native Japanese setting, it grows over damp shaded cliffs, so it is a great choice for growing over a shaded wall or terrace edge.
