HOSTA 'June'
|
Hybridized/Introduced By: NEO Plants Ltd.
Description: 2001 Hosta of the Year. This sport of the famous blue-leaved Halcyon has a gold leaf with feathery patterned blue and green edges. The leaf center changes to creamy white in bright light. Foliage has great substance, which means the plant doesn't look tattered late in the season. Makes a medium-sized mound about 16 x 37 inches and blooms late July into mid-August with pale lavender flowers on 24-inch scapes.
