Description: Best known for its showy floral display and fall color, but also very useful for its vertical habit, unusual among ericaceous plants. Pendant clusters of creamy bell-shaped flowers veined with red are produced in May-June. In a western exposure, fall color features bright red foliage with tones of orange, yellow and purple.
