CORYLOPSIS pauciflora
|
Description: The easiest species to fit in the smaller garden, as it generally stays under 4 feet tall and 6-8 feet wide with heart-shaped leaves. The habit is much more dense and twiggy than the other species. The pale yellow flowers appear at the end of winter in pendulous spikes, avoiding some of the late frosts which can damage earlier bloomers. This plant likes moist soil and partial shade.
